Randy Orton has given advice to Je’Von Evans to help his WWE career.

Since making his WWE debut in 2024, Je’Von Evans has captured the imagination of fans worldwide as his unique offence makes him one of the most exciting additions to the roster in some time. His run on NXT led him to a one-on-one match with Randy Orton on the October 8, 2024, edition of the show. As it happened, ‘The Viper’ picked up the win, but he certainly caught the attention of the 14-time world champion, and the 45-year-old has now revealed some advice he’s given to ‘The Young OG’.

While speaking to Pat McAfee, Randy Orton discussed the importance of wrestlers being careful with their body as their career progresses, noting his advice to Je’Von Evans to not do everything every night.

“Early on in my career, I was horrible with my body. I was doing all sorts of shit that I shouldn’t have been doing. I kind of had a reality check. I turned things around. The in-ring work, I make sure that everything that I’m doing, there is a reason why I’m doing it. I’m not just throwing myself around. I see young guys come up and they don’t hurt. Je’Von Evans, perfect example. He is incredible, but I’ve had a couple of talks with him because he’s doing so many things that nobody else can do and he doesn’t need to do them all every night,”

Randy Orton and Je’Von Evans share the ring for the first time since October 2024 this weekend as both men compete in the Elimination Chamber match. Part of the field vying for a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42, fans will wait with bated breath to see what Evans pulls out to try to advance to the ‘Show Of Shows’.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on both Randy Orton and Je’Von Evans ahead of this weekend’s WWE Elimination Chamber as soon as we hear more.
