The latest has emerged on Naomi following the August 11 edition of RAW.
Heading into last night’s WWE RAW, fans were expecting to see Women’s World Champion Naomi defend her title against IYO SKY. However, just hours before the show, it was announced that the current champion was medically unable to compete, meaning the match had to be taken off the show. With little known about her status moving forward, things are all but clear regarding Naomi’s status.
Per PWInsider Elite, it’s believed that the reason behind Naomi’s absence from RAW was kept quiet from other talent, although she was backstage at the show.
Naomi was backstage at WWE Raw in Quebec earlier in the day, so her match being pulled was not a case of her not making it to the taping. Whatever the reason was, it was very much kept quiet from other talents.

While the situation remains unclear, Naomi is still advertised for Clash In Paris on August 31. There, she is set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, although her status for the show is now something to keep an eye on with a little under three weeks left until the show.
