Chris Jericho is reportedly signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling.

Last night, on the April 1 edition of Dynamite, Chris Jericho made his first AEW appearance in almost exactly a year. After months of rumours that he could be WWE-bound, the 55-year-old emerged in front of his hometown crowd in Winnipeg to mark his All Elite Wrestling return, and it now seems he’s committed his future to the promotion.

According to an update from PWInsider, there’s a belief that Jericho has come to terms on a new deal with AEW.

The general belief backstage last night was that Chris Jericho came to terms with AEW for a new deal, PWInsider.com can confirm.

To provide more information on last night’s return, PWInsider note that Jericho arrived at the Canada Life Centre just two minutes before Dynamite went on the air. After a lengthy absence, it’s also believed the AEW World Champion introduced himself to the talent he didn’t know following his comeback to the company.

As yet, it’s unclear how long Jericho’s reported new contract is set to last, though it certainly seems any talk of a WWE move can be parked for the foreseeable future. From here, attention turns to what Jericho will go on to do during his next run, particularly as his appearance last night didn’t give anything away with regard to his future opponents.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Chris Jericho’s AEW return as soon as we hear more.
