The Great One reportedly won’t be done with WWE after WrestleMania.
At WrestleMania 40 The Rock will team with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the main event of night one. The match will determine the stipulation for night two’s title bout between Reigns and Rhodes, with it either being a case of The Bloodline being banned from ringside or Bloodline Rules in which anything goes. Rock’s recent run has been inspired given his heel persona, and it appears as if his ‘Mania match won’t be a one and done.
Now, per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that WrestleMania 40 won’t be Rock’s last match of the year. Despite there not currently being a set date for another match, it’s possible that he moves his schedule around to make time for another WWE Premium Live Event appearance.
“While the belief in the company is that this is not his last match, there is no date for another match and it depends on his movie schedule, although with the nature of his WWE contract, he also could move dates around for a WWE PPV show.”

Previously, it had been suggested that there is be a push for Rock to wrestle in Saudi Arabia when the company make their next triple to the Middle East. While his next match is unconfirmed, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Rock appear on the card in Saudi Arabia this May, while SummerSlam and Survivor Series can’t be ruled out for the rest of 2024.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on The Rock’s WWE schedule as soon as we hear more.
