The latest has come out regarding Andrade’s future and what it might mean for his World’s End match.
By all accounts, Andrade El Idolo’s All Elite Wrestling future is up in the air. After making his return to the company over the summer, the 34-year-old has mainly found himself competing on Collision, but he has also made a recent appearance in CMLL, reportedly wanting to make a return to the Mexican promotion in case he signs with WWE at the end of his current AEW contract.
To provide the latest on his status, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that there is talk within AEW regarding Andrade’s deal being up soon, even suggesting that this may lead to him taking a loss to Miro in tonight’s scheduled clash between the pair at World’s End.
“There’s been talk within the company Andrade’s deal is up soon, so if it is, I suspect he’s taking the submission loss. Crazy that this is his first singles PPV bout, unless I’m really mistaken.”

Most recently, Andrade was seen taking on Volador Jr. at CMLL’s Viernes Espectacular show on December 29. Little is known about where the Mexican will opt to sign once his current AEW contract is up, but the situation is certainly one to keep an eye on heading tonight’s World’s End pay-per-view and into the new year as a whole.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Andrade’s contract status with AEW as we hear more.
