The WWE Hall of Famer is here to stay.
Earlier today, PWInsider reported that Dominik Mysterio had re-signed with WWE last month, and despite him no longer being aligned with his father on-screen, it appears as though the father and son duo will both be sticking around for the foreseeable future.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Rey Mysterio has also penned a new deal with WWE.
“Rey Mysterio has signed a new contract with WWE.”
-Dave Meltzer
Mysterio is currently out of action with a knee injury and was written off WWE TV by a newly-heel Santos Escobar, who turned his back on the LWO following Rey’s loss to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.
As of writing, little is known about the specifics of Mysterio’s extension with WWE, however as always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates as soon as we hear more, and we wish him all the best in his recovery.
