‘The Eradicator’ is a big fan of AJ Lee.

This year’s women’s WarGames match will see Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee unite to take on the team of Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch across two rings inside a steel cage.

Appearing on last night’s Raw Recap, Rhea Ripley discussed AJ Lee joining her team as the fifth member and said she wants to see the same fight that made her a fan of the former WWE Divas Champion growing up.

“Growing up, I watched AJ Lee. I loved watching AJ Lee. She was one of my favorites, for sure. I thought she was amazing at what she did, especially for the size that she is. She’s scrappy, she doesn’t give up, and I liked that fire inside of her that I know she has. Seeing her come back and tag with her husband, CM Punk, against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, I could see that fire was still there. Everything that I’ve seen her accomplish throughout her run in the WWE before, when I was growing up, she accomplished so much. And she really wasn’t set up to accomplish that much, but she fought and she scratched and she clawed and she was determined and she got to the point that she got to. And that’s what I want to see. And I know that it’s there. And that’s why I want her on my team. I want that scrappy. I want that fight.”

AJ Lee made her in-ring return on September 20 at WWE: Wrestlepalooza, teaming with her husband CM Punk to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Her feud with Lynch ultimately led to the pair’s involvement in Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29.

Survivor Series: WarGames will also feature Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and The Usos teaming up to face The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, along with Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Survivor Series: WarGames as soon as we hear more.
