In the closing moments of this past Saturday’s Extreme Rules premium live event, Bray Wyatt made his long awaited return to WWE following weeks of teases that saw Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ play during commercial breaks for the live crowd, as well as a series of QR code hints at the identity of said “white rabbit”.

The former Universal Champion was released from the company in July of last year, and had been absent from the wrestling world prior to his recent return. Multiple current and former pro-wrestling stars have praised the execution of Wyatt’s return, with the latest of these being two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

Speaking on the return during an episode of his To Be The Man podcast on AdFreeShows, Flair revealed that he was pleased to see Wyatt return to the company, although he was puzzled as to why he was released in the first place.

“Well, talking about Bray [Wyatt], I’m happy he’s back. I think he’s an extremely talented guy. I never understood why he was gone, to begin with. I’m glad he’s back, I think he’s very talented and, like I said, one of the classiest guys you’ll meet in the business today.”

Wyatt is set to appear on this Friday’s edition of Smackdown, although it is currently unclear what his plans will be amidst rumours of a potential faction centering around his real-life puppet characters that appeared during his return. The 35 year-old is undoubtably one of the most creative minds to ever grace the pro-wrestling industry, and thus we’re looking forward to seeing how he fares under the new Triple H-led regime.
