‘The Nature Boy’ believes William Regal was underutilised during his career.
Widely regarded as one of the best technical wrestlers of his era, William Regal was a regular presence on both WCW and WWE television, where he captured multiple midcard championships. Despite this success, many felt he was deserving of a bigger push.
Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is among those who share that view, telling The Escapist that Regal never received the push his talent truly deserved.

Across his in-ring career, Regal captured four WCW Television Titles, four WWE European Titles, and two WWE Intercontinental Titles, though a world championship in either promotion eluded him.
After a stint with All Elite Wrestling, Regal returned to WWE in January 2023, where he now serves as Vice President of Global Talent Development while making occasional on-screen appearances in NXT.
