Rey Mysterio once told Ricochet that Eddie Guerrero would’ve loved to wrestle him.
As far as high-flying wrestlers go, Ricochet is one of the best in the modern era. The 36-year-old has held championships in the likes of Dragongate, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and WWE, and he currently finds himself as a key member of the AEW roster. His skillset can’t be matched by many in the wrestling world, and Ricochet has now recalled a legend of the style telling him that Eddie Guerrero would’ve loved to have worked with him.
Speaking on Marking Out With MVP And Dwayne Swayze, Ricochet discussed how he once got emotional when Rey Mysterio suggested Eddie Guerrero would have loved to wrestle him.
“Rey was like, ‘Man, I know if Eddie was here, he would have loved to have been in there and wrestled you. I know that.’ And then instantly, I started getting emotional. That’s just the biggest compliment.”

While they were both in WWE together, the pair also have history from their time in Lucha Underground. While under his ‘Prince Puma’ alias, Ricochet teamed with Rey Mysterio Jr. and Dragon Azteca Jr. to capture the company’s trios championships.
These days, Ricochet is looking to build momentum in AEW with the Gates Of Agony by his side. Most recently, the trio picked up a win against JetSpeed and Michael Oku on the Forbidden Door Zero Hour.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Ricochet as soon as we hear more.
