Ridge Holland reportedly wasn’t paid extra for his TNA appearances.
Around 24 hours ago, Ridge Holland took to social media to reveal that WWE won’t be renewing his contract when it expires on November 14. As mentioned in his post, the company will be covering his rehab from an injury which he sustained whilst working a dark match for TNA, but the former NXT Tag Team Champion set to be sidelined for at least six months. Now, more has emerged on the details behind Holland wrestling for TNA.
In a new update from Fightful Select, it’s believed that Ridge Holland signed a one-year extension in November 2024, but wasn’t paid extra for his work with TNA.
“Fightful Select has learned that Menzies original main roster deal was up in November 2024. He was offered a one-year extension at about $200,000 less than that he had been making, and accepted it. That deal is up in mid-November. We’re told that Menzies wasn’t paid extra as a part of the TNA talent exchange that saw him get injured.”

This follows on from today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, on which Bryan Alvarez revealed that Holland was making ‘NXT money’ as opposed to main roster money at the time he was let go. You can read more about that here.
Little is known about Ridge Holland’s wrestling future, but it goes without saying that we wish him all the best with regard to his recovery from injury.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Ridge Holland’s WWE departure as soon as we hear more.
