Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori Win 2026 Super Junior Tag Legaue

Robbie X and Taiji Ishimori have claimed a huge victory.

The Super Junior Tag League concluded on Tuesday at NJPW Power Struggle after Unbound Co’s Robbie X and Taiji Ishimori defeated Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles from TMDK’s Ichiban Sweet Boys. It is the first tournament victory of any kind for the Unbound Co. faction since their inception in January.

X and Ishimori won the match after Ishimori caught Fujita with an inside cradle for the three count at 11:13.

Following the win, Mistico, one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, came out to confront the tournament winners. The star announced that due to his partner, El Desperado, who is suffering from spinal canal stenosis and a hernia, they will be relinquishing their tag belts.

A match was then constructed for a future show, possibly Wrestle Kingdom, where Ishimori and X will take on the Ichiban Sweet Boys and Mistico and a new partner for the Junior Tag Belts.

Ishimori and X finished this Super Junior Tag League sporting a 4-1 record in block play, with their only loss coming against Mistico and Masatora Yoshida.

Elsewhere on the show, things finally bubbled over between Will Ospreay and Callum Newman, and a match has been made official for Wrestle Kingdom. You can read more about how that transpired here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the Super Junior Tag League Final as soon as we hear more.
