On the March 2nd, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan announced that he had purchased Ring of Honor from Sinclair Broadcast Group; including its brand assets, intellectual property, and video library, among others. Since then, ROH have held three PPV events, those being Supercard of Honor XV, Death Before Dishonor, and most recently Final Battle, however many fans have been patiently awaiting a full return to weekly television for the company.
Per Fightful Select, it now appears as though weekly ROH programming is on the horizon, as Will Washington has reportedly heard that TV tapings are set to begin leading up to Supercard of Honor XVI, nearly one year after Tony Khan announced he had purchased the company.
“Talent have been told that the ROH tapings will take place in Orlando, Florida during the last weekend of February. The talent we heard back from was under the assumption that it would be at Universal Studios, where ROH regularly films dark.“

As noted within Fightful’s report, Voices of Wrestling previously reported that ROH’s TV tapings were set to begin on February 25th and 26th, with that now seemingly having been confirmed.
Additionally, Fightful stated that whilst Voices of Wrestling hadn’t been given much of a timetable for after those two dates, the belief currently is that these tapings will run up to the upcoming Supercard of Honor PPV set to take place on March 31st.
As far as the talents that are expected to feature across these tapings are concerned, Fightful added that several AEW-contracted talents were signed as far back as last spring with the intention of finding a home on ROH programming.
