Roman Reigns doesn’t acknowledge his time as ‘The Big Dog’.
Immediately following the breakup of The Shield, Roman Reigns would begin the next phase of his career with the nickname ‘The Big Dog’. During this era, he was largely rejected by WWE’s fanbase and it wasn’t until he became known as ‘The Tribal Chief’ in 2020 that he started to truly connect with the audience.
Talking to IGN, Roman Reigns firmly stated that ‘The Big Dog’ is dead and doesn’t exist.
“There is no big dog. He’s dead now. I don’t even see the other guy. He doesn’t even exist. It doesn’t- didn’t happen.”

When it comes to what’s next for Reigns, the former Undisputed WWE Champion is next advertised to appear on the March 21 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Bologna, while he’s also been announced for the March 28 show one week later.
