Rusev looks set for a WWE return.
On February 10, it emerged that Miro had reached a mutual agreement on his departure from All Elite Wrestling. At the time, little was known regarding the 39-year-old’s in-ring future, however, after only competing in one match since his AEW exit, it now seems like the man formerly known as Rusev may be on his way back to WWE.
Per PWInsider, it’s believed that Rusev was recently at WWE headquarters and has re-signed with the company.
“Rusev (aka Miro in AEW) has been at the WWE HQ in Stamford, CT all day today and was spotted by multiple sources. According to those we’ve spoken with today, Rusev has signed with the company and was at HQ today to set the stage for his return.”

Rusev hasn’t been seen in WWE since he competed on the February 17, 2020, edition of Monday Night RAW, so a return would end over half a decade of absence from the company. As yet, there’s no indication as to when he may return to our screens, but it seems as if the wheels are in motion when it comes to a comeback for the former United States Champion.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Rusev’s WWE return as soon as we hear more.
