Saraya might not be competing in the ring for much longer.

In 2022, Saraya made her All Elite Wrestling debut. The 31-year-old has had more than her fair share of injuries during her career, but still had her moment when she capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship at Wembley Stadium in 2023. She has almost 20 years of experience in the ring, although the star has now addressed her future.

Talking to Sports Illustrated, Saraya noted that she’s coming to the end of her wrestling career, saying she doesn’t need to end things on top.

“I’m letting people beat me, left, right and center. I was on a losing streak, but I just wanted people to get their rub. I want to uplift everybody. I’m not gonna be in wrestling forever. I’m coming to the end of it and it’s very soon. And I don’t wanna go out being like, I need to be on top.”

Saraya last won a match in August 2024, defeating Nyla Rose on AEW Rampage. As yet, it’s unknown how long she plans to continue as an active competitor but it doesn’t sound as if the former AEW Women’s World Champion has long left when it comes to competing in the ring.

Elsewhere in the interview, Saraya noted that her former stablemate Toni Storm is, in her opinion, one of the best promos and characters of all time.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Saraya’s future as soon as we hear more.
