Saraya has discussing finding love for wrestling again.

Last wrestling on the October 8, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite, it’s been over a year since Saraya last stepped into the ring. The following month, she announced she’d be taking a hiatus from wrestling to focus on outside projects, and she’s since become a free agent after leaving All Elite Wrestling eight months ago. Now, the star has discussed her future plans.

Speaking to the Toronto Sun, Saraya opened up on re-finding her love for wrestling and revealed she’s set to restart training in January.

“I’ve had a wonderful year to kind of dip my toe into the outside-of-wrestling world, and it’s been so wonderful. And I have loved it, and I have enjoyed it, but once you’re a wrestler, you’ll always miss it. I am starting to get the bug for it again. I went through a stage where I kind of fell out of love with it for a second, and I’m just like, I need to take a break from it. But I’ve just found this new love for it again, and I found this new passion for it again. I’m gonna get into training in January, and we’ll see where that takes me. Because I feel like if I was to ever come back—not saying I am, but if I was to ever come back—I want to be at the top of my game and be wrestling better than I was wrestling back when I was in NXT. So that’s my goal. And I’ve actually asked Nattie a few times. She wants me to go down to the Dungeon in Florida. So I was like, ‘Absolutely.’ I miss it, I love it. I think the percentage of me going back is a lot higher now, but we’ll see where it goes.”

Saraya officially left AEW in March of this year. In the meantime, she’s launched her own podcast titled ‘Rulebreakers’, while many fans have speculated over whether she could be in line for a WWE return. Seemingly set train with Natalya at the start of next year, whether the former Divas Champion gears up for another run with the company remains to be seen.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Saraya’s wrestling future as soon as we hear more.
