Scorpio Sky reportedly only has a few months left on his AEW deal.

Signing with the company in January 2019, Scorpio Sky is one of All Elite Wrestling’s earliest pickups. Along with Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, SCU became part of the foundation that the newfound promotion’s tag team division was built upon. Over seven years later, an update has emerged on Sky’s current contract status.

Providing an update in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed Scorpio Sky’s AEW contract is due in a few months.

Teaming with Kazarian, Sky became one-half of the first ever AEW World Tag Team Champions in October 2019, defeating The Lucha Brothers in the finals of a tournament to claim the titles. The 43-year-old is also a two-time TNT Champion, having been a force in singles competition in 2022.

Sky’s last televised matches on AEW TV came in a losing effort against Kevin Knight on February 7. While he did participate in a battle royal for the National Championship at Revolution, the majority of his recent appearances have come on Ring Of Honor, although Scorpio remains a member of SkyFlight.
