Secret Base Holds Final Show At Shinjuku FACE

Secret Base has held their final event.
Japanese independent promotion Secret Base held their final event inside the beloved Shinjuku FACE venue on September 15. The card featured wrestlers from their home roster as well as others from the wider Puro community.
The main event of the evening featured a six-man tag team matching pitting Dragongate’s Naruki Doi, Ryo Saito, and Susumu Yokosuka beating the Secret Base champion HANAOKA, one-half of the Secret Base tag champs, Amigo Suzuki, and promotion founder and president, Momotsugu Shimizu. The roster then flooded the ring and took a commemorative picture following some words from Shimizu.
Shinjuku FACE is set to close its doors on September 30 after over 20 years of being Tokyo’s third most used wrestling venue, behind only Korakuen Hall and Shin-kiba 1st RING. According to puwota.com, FACE will hold 12 more shows before it closes.
