Seth Rollins isn’t thinking about retiring just yet.

This past weekend, John Cena’s year-long retirement tour concluded when the 17-time world champion took on GUNTHER at Saturday Night’s Main Event in what was the final match of his career. Now, with Cena’s last run still fresh in the memory, one of RAW’s top stars has commented on whether he knows what he wants his own retirement match to look like.

Speaking to Ross Tucker, Seth Rollins was asked whether he’s thought about his own last match. Here, he revealed that it wasn’t on his mind, noting that he’s instead focusing on doing things he hasn’t yet done in wrestling.

“Not really. I got a lot more years left in the tank, so I’m not sure I’m there just yet. I think often about, I guess, the mortality of my career because I started when I was 17, 18 and now I’m nearly 40, and I’m certainly not going until I’m 60. I’m almost closer to the end than the beginning. So I think about, I suppose, like the mortality and the fact that it’s winding down. Maybe there’s some urgency to do some things that I haven’t done or contribute in a different way. But my last match, my last moment, that feels so far away that I haven’t quite got there yet.”

Rollins himself is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury sustained during his match with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in Perth. As a result, the star had to vacate his World Heavyweight Championship and it isn’t yet known when he’ll return to our screens.

As far as plans for his return go, recent reports indicated that WWE haven’t yet locked in plans for Rollins and The Vision once he’s back from injury, though it seems the company have incredibly high expectations for Bron Breakker. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins as soon as we hear more.
