Seth Rollins Says His Shoulder Is ‘80 To 90 Percent’ Heading Into WWE WrestleMania 42

Seth Rollins gives one final update on his shoulder injury before WrestleMania.
In just two days, on WrestleMania Saturday, Seth Rollins will face GUNTHER in what will be his first match since October 2025. Back at Crown Jewel, the former member of The Vision suffered a shoulder injury during a match with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in Australia. Now, the 39-year-old has given an update on his recovery a little over 48 hours before his return to the ring.
Appearing on ESPN’s First Take, Rollins said his shoulder is ‘80 to 90 percent’ heading into WrestleMania.
“As for the shoulder, it feels great. I don’t know that it’s 100 percent, but maybe 80 to 90 percent. And I’ll tell you what. My 80 to 90 percent is pretty good. Good enough to get us in a position here where we’ve got a match at WrestleMania against Gunther.”

Even when Rollins made his WWE return at the Elimination Chamber event, it was emphasised on subsequent shows that he still wasn’t cleared for competition. Yet, as the star was seeking revenge on Paul Heyman and The Vision, GUNTHER shockingly ambushed Rollins on the March 30 episode of RAW, setting up their WrestleMania clash.
Speaking of his Elimination Chamber return back in February, it was recently revealed that this was the moment WWE decided go with Rollins vs. GUNTHER in Las Vegas, pivoting both men away from their original plans. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins as soon as we hear more.
