Seth Rollins has discussed possible post-retirement plans.
Since arriving on the main roster in 2012, Seth Rollins has achieved all there is to achieve in WWE. The 38-year-old a five-time World Champion, six-time Tag Team Champion and has won both of the company’s midcard titles two times each while ticking off huge accolades like the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank. While Rollins remains a top star on Monday Night RAW, he has now discussed what he might be interested in doing after his illustrious in-ring career is over.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Rollins revealed that he’s starting to think about what things might look like for him after he hangs up his boots, with the star saying that conversations have started over whether he can help WWE in an executive or creative role down the line.
“It’s still a ways off, obviously, I mean, I’m closer [to] the end of my career than the beginning, but, you know, the end ain’t here yet. So, I’m kind of in my prime right now. I’m 38 years old. My mental and physical kind of, like, locked in right now where my physical hasn’t declined too much, and my mental side is really on the rise, as I’m starting to see the industry from a different angle. So that part I’m really focused on. I think we’re in the early stages of conversations about what it might look like for me in the future in an executive or in a creative role, or whatever that may be. But again, that’s in its infancy. That’s like, ‘Hey, maybe, what would you think down the road?’ So right now, I’m focused on what I’m doing in the ring and helping out there as best I can.”

Taking up a role behind the scenes is something a path many wrestlers choose to follow once they’re not longer active in the ring, although Rollins’ in-ring days are far from behind him. Tonight on RAW, ‘The Visionary’ will battle Finn Balor in the final qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber as he looks to challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins’ future plans as soon as we hear more.
