Sol Ruca doesn’t want to rush her career.
Current NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca has captivated audiences since her debut in 2022, and many people have her pegged as a success on the main roster in the future. However, with no indication that she’s set to leave the developmental brand anytime soon, Ruca has now discussed wanting to take things as they come in her career.
Speaking on the Going Ringside podcast, Ruca acknowledged that headlining WrestleMania is a goal for everyone, including herself.
“I just want to be in anything that I can be. I want to be in all of the title opportunities… obviously, all of us want to headline WrestleMania.”

However, when asked if she thinks a ‘Mania closing match could happen within five years, Ruca explained that she’s reluctant to rush her career. Instead, she’s trusting WWE’s timing.
“I completely trust them in their timing. I’m not trying to rush my career by any means. Obviously, all of us want to get to the main roster as quickly as possible, but I’m completely content being in NXT. I’m completely content doing my stuff with ZARIA. We’re having so so much fun right now. I definitely have so much more to learn. I just think, when the time is right, it’ll be.”

As she mentions, Ruca is part of an incredibly popular tag team with Zaria, so it’s unlikely she focuses on main roster singles success in the near future. Still, the 26-year-old has certainly showed a lot of promise and many are looking forward to seeing the heights she can reach in her career.
When it comes to going on last at WrestleMania, only five women across two matches have achieved the feat, meaning Ruca would be in esteemed company if she is able to close the famous event in future.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Sol Ruca as soon as we hear more.
