Tony D’Angelo may be on RAW or SmackDown by the end of the year.
Heading into this past weekend’s Clash In Paris Premium Live Event, many fans were expecting ‘The Vision’ to gain a new member. While many theories were circulating around who may be emerge at the side of Seth Rollins, one of the prevailing ideas was that Tony D’Angelo could make his main roster debut by joining the stable in France. However, when it came down to it, it was Becky Lynch who joined her husband’s group by costing CM Punk the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, an update has emerged on D’Angelo’s future.
Per WrestleVotes Radio, it’s believed that Tony D’Angelo’s name has come up in WWE Creative recently, and some even expect him on the main roster by the end of the year.
“Sources indicate Tony D’Angelo’s name has been circulating within creative recently, with some expecting him to debut on the main roster before year’s end. We’re told his mobster-style gimmick is expected to remain at this time, though it will likely be slightly refined before he hits either Raw or SmackDown. D’Angelo, a former NXT North American Champion, is said to have a strong work ethic and standout personality traits that many within the company speak highly of.”

D’Angelo hasn’t been seen since the July 29 edition of WWE NXT, where he was seemingly written off of the show. Following this, it’s unlikely that the 30-year-old will return to the developmental brand, leaving many fans waiting for his debut on RAW or SmackDown. Thankfully for those wanting to see what’s next for him, it seems as if it won’t be long before D’Angelo returns to our screen.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Tony D’Angelo as soon as we hear more.
