Details has emerged on when Mariah May’s current AEW contract could be set to expire.

Mariah May last appeared in AEW at Revolution when fans saw her come out on the losing end of ‘The Hollywood Ending’ against Toni Storm. The pair had one of the most talked about rivalries in recent memory, and May has been a key part of Dynamite and Collision since her debut. However, it seems ‘The Glamour’ may soon need to renegotiate with the company.

Per Fightful Select, some in AEW are of the belief that Mariah May is in a contract year, with it said that her deal could be up this summer.

“Fightful Select has learned that a number of staff, wrestlers and higher ups in believe that former AEW World Champion Mariah May is in a contract year. Specifically, those that we’ve spoken to in AEW believe that her deal is up in the Summer.”

The report goes on to suggest that it’s likely her current deal has optional years attached to it, particularly given how prominently Mariah has featured for AEW on a relatively short contract, however this is unconfirmed as of now. As Fightful noted, the company will be keen to retain the former Women’s World Champion when her current contract comes up for renewal.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mariah May’s contract status as soon as we hear more.
