WWE reportedly aren’t renewing the deal of Sonya Deville.
Appearing sporadically on Monday Night RAW as part of the Pure Fusion Collective, Sonya Deville first signed with WWE after appearing on Tough Enough in 2015. The 31-year-old is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and performed the role of an on-screen authority figure in 2021, however it now appears as if her time with the company is coming to an end.
Per PWInsider, it’s believed that WWE have informed Sonya Deville of their intention not to renew her contract when it comes up in a matter of weeks.
“WWE sources confirmed to PWInsider.com this evening that Sonya Deville will be leaving the company later this month. She was informed tonight that the company would not be renewing her current contract.”

It’s worth noting that WWE allowing Deville’s deal expire rather than releasing her means that there’ll be no restrictions on when she can take outside bookings as a free agent, with there being no 90-day non-compete clause for her to wait out. Of course, we wish her all the best when it comes to her future outside of WWE.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Sonya Deville’s contract expiry as soon as we hear more.
