The full lineup for Marvelous’ Tag League The Best tournament is now available to fans.

Chigusa Nagayo unveiled the list of tag teams who will compete in Marvelous’ upcoming Tag League The Best tournament, which is set to begin on October 24. This tournament will feature tag teams from a variety of promotions across Japan including Sendai Girls, STARDOM, and on the native Marvelous roster.

The tag league will feature eight teams split into two blocks. The format will be single elimination starting from the A Block on October 24 and 25, and the B Block on November 8 and 29. The finals will occur on December 10.

The A Block is headlined by three-time Goddesses of Stardom Champiom, Hazuki and Koguma, known together as Fukuoka Double Crazy, aka FWC. They will challenge Chikayo Nagashima & Echika Miyabi in the first round. The other A Block first round match will feature the former AAAW Tag Team champs Maria and RIKO, collectively known as Magneta, as they take on Ai Houzan and Sora Ayame.

The more star-studded block, B Block, is spearheaded by Sareee and Takumi Iroha, collectively known as SPARK RUSH, who are the front runners for tag team of the year according to many fans of Japanese pro wrestling. If they want to make the finals, they will have to weather a cavalcade of strong tag teams.

In the first round, Spark Rush will have to weather a tag team featuring two women who both have all the potential in the world, Chi Chi and Senka Akatsuki. If they’re able to take those two wonderkinds out, they will then challenge the winner between the reigning Sendai Girls Tag Team Champions, Mika Iwata and Miyuki Takase from Red Energy, and the former Sendai Girls and AAAW tag champs, Mio Momono and Yurika Oka from Bob Bob Momo Banana. Look for that first round matchup to possibly be the match of the tournament.

It’s expected that the team who wins in December will later challenge AEW’s Nyla Rose and Nightshade for the AAAW Tag belts down the line.
