STARDOM is presenting its biggest show of the year, All Star Grand Queendom 2025, on April 27 in the legendary Yokohama Arena, which marks the promotion’s second show there after 2023. The show is headlined by the major Career vs. Career match for the World of Stardom Championship between Saya Kamitani and Tam Nakano, as well as AZM challenging Starlight Kid for the Wonder of STARDOM Championship.
The promotion has been on a hot streak ever since the success of Dream Queendom, and the show in Yokohama Arena will follow up well with what look likely to end up as the most attended STARDOM show in history. The card features several compelling matchups, making it a must-watch event. The ten-match lineup offers a solid mix of intriguing undercard bouts and multiple championship clashes, all coming together to produce what, on paper, looks like a certainty to be a Show of the Year contender.
Let’s dive into the card!
Rina vs. Yumiko Hotta

After her amazing performance at Path of Thunder 2025 in an unsuccessful challenge for the Wonder of Stardom Championship against Starlight Kid, Rina gets a major singles match on the Yokohama Arena card against Yumiko Hotta, who is one of the biggest Joshi legends that are still active. The former 3x WWWA Singles Champion has done it all in her career, and with her 39 years of experience, she’s been competing for over 20 years longer than Rina has been alive.
The simple idea of this match is that Rina wants to show that the future and present is better and there is no need for old legends like Yumiko Hotta anymore and the ‘Pink Devil’ wants to make a statement in this match. Whilst that statement victory feels unrealistic here due to the dominance Hotta has shown in singles matches over the past decade, a great showing against a legend of the industry will certainly go a long way to building Rina’s popularity as she continues to rise up the ranks in STARDOM.
Prediction: Yumiko Hotta
Thekla vs. Sayaka Kurara

This match was just made official at the latest Korakuen Hall show and is part of the Thekla vs. Taro Okada storyline that both have been trying to make a thing for the past 6 months. It started during the Goddesses of Stardom show in Joetsu, where Thekla violated Okada for the first time and got suspended as a result. Ever since, she has been fighting with management until Mina Shirakawa stepped up and challenged her to a match, where she would have been forced to apologize if she had lost, while Thekla would be allowed to pick someone of her choosing to face her if she won the match. She ended up defeating Shirakawa and chose Taro Okada, who said no. Instead, Maika stepped up and defeated Thekla in Las Vegas during WrestleMania Weekend.
Everyone thought that was the end of the storyline, but on the night after, Thekla once again attacked Taro Okada, with New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Clark Connors even hitting him with a spear. At the latest Korakuen Hall show, Thekla continued to call out Okada, but the Cinderella Tournament winner Sayaka Kurara stepped up and challenged her to a match – If Thekla loses, she must join Cosmic Angels. If Thekla wins, she finally gets her match against Taro Okada.
Kurara has labelled herself the “H.A.T.E. Hunter” following wins over Ruaka, Azusa Inaba, and Rina to win the Cinderella Tournament and will look to add another name to her list in Thekla, who will do everything to finally get her match against Taro Okada. The next few months will tell if Kurara’s heel stable hunter run will surpass the historically poor Bullet Club Hunter runs from Frankie Kazarian and Yoshitatsu. She will almost certainly lose here so that they can finally run the Thekla vs. Taro match that nobody asked for.
Prediction: Thekla
Saori Anou, Natsupoi, & Aya Sakura vs. Meiko Satomura, Mika Iwata, & YUNA

Just a few days before Meiko Satomura ends her legendary career at Korakuen Hall, she steps into a STARDOM ring for one last time as she teams with Mika Iwata & YUNA against Saori Anou, Natsupoi, & Aya Sakura of Cosmic Angels. Satomura is a former World of Stardom Champion, having held the belt for 150 days and dropping it in one of the best matches in the company’s great history against Io Shirai back in 2015, and thus it’s fitting for her final match in a STARDOM to take place at the promotion’s biggest event of the year.
The Sendai Girls against STARDOM story has been brewing for a while, and it started with the clashes between Saori Anou and Mika Iwata over the Wonder of Stardom and the Sendai Girls World Championship in 2024. They are once again facing off in this match, but that is not the only rivalry that’s been brewing, as YUNA and Aya Sakura will once again clash as the former looks to earn herself a shot at the Sendai Girls Junior Championship that Sakura currently holds. Add in Natsupoi simply being an amazing wrestler, and this match has everything it needs to be a great undercard tag team match
An argument could be made either way here, as Satomura and the rest of Senjo won’t want to lose against STARDOM, while the Cosmic Angels want to protect their home turf on what could prove to be a historic night for the faction.
Prediction: Saori Anou, Natsupoi, & Aya Sakura
Mei Seira vs. Suzu Suzuki – No Disqualification Match

The moment Suzu Suzuki smashed the chair over Mei Seira’s head and the arrival of Suzuki’s new faction, Mi Vida Loca, changed the landscape of STARDOM forever. Crazy Star had been together ever since the pair joined the company exactly two years ago and while their relationship was always rocky, the feeling of friendship was still there. That was until recently, when Suzuki knew that something needed to change. Everyone in NEO Genesis held championship gold, except for her. She lost title match after title match, while the rest of her faction continued to wrap gold around their waists.
Despite initial tension, the pair appeared to make up following a victory against H.A.T.E., or so we thought, as the final straw for Suzuki came in the form of AZM announcing her challenge to Starlight Kid just moments after Crazy Star appeared to reconcile. On the next show, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally came, as Suzuki hit Seira as hard as she could with a steel chair and proceded to beat the living hell out of her former friend.
The Suzu Suzuki that fans had been asking for is back, and she will look to make a statement out of Seira in this match. No DQ matches are Suzuki’s playground as she’s done battle with some of the toughest death match wrestlers on the scene, while Mei Seira has no prior experience in this match style. This will be brutal, violent, and full of fireworks; exactly what you’d expect from these two as Crazy Star implodes.
Prediction: Suzu Suzuki
Future of Stardom Championship: Hina (c) vs. Ranna Yagami

The first of a couple inter-faction matches on this show is next as Ranna Yagami challenges Hina for the Future of Stardom Championship. The story of Hina’s career has been that she was always in the shadow of her two sisters, Rina & Hanan. It took her much longer than her siblings to win a championship in her career, but now it’s her time to show what she can do. Hina has been gaining confidence over the past year, putting everything together, has a great look, and consistently steps up on the big stage.
She looks to defend her title against Ranna Yagami, whose career so far mirrors her own. Yagami thus far has been overshadowed by fellow rookies Sayaka Kurara, HANAKO, and Aya Sakura, each of whom has already claimed their first major accomplishments, while Yagami is still chasing her first accolade. Their chemistry in the ring has been impressive, both in preview matches and when teaming together. Given that both are learning under Syuri’s guidance in God’s Eye, this match promises to be more grounded and technical than your average Future of Stardom Championship bout.
While both equally want to win the match, Hina’s confidence will make the difference, and she will get one step closer to matching and surpassing the legendary runs Hanan & Rina had with that championship
Prediction: Hina
Sendai Girls World Championship: Chihiro Hashimoto (c) vs. Maika

The Ace of Sendai Girls collides with the Ace of Stardom in a massive Sendai Girls World Championship match – a match that has been brewing for a long time. It started back in November, when Hashimoto destroyed EXV’s HANAKO in a singles match, prompting Maika to challenge her to a tag team match between Cup High Mate and Team 200KG in STARDOM on January 3rd that Maika was able to win. ‘The Empress’ has been a semi-regular competitor in Sendai Girls ever since unsuccessfully challenging for the Sendai Girls Tag Team Championship on March 21st, while Hashimoto won her sixth Sendai Girls World Title on the same show by defeating the legendary Meiko Satomura. Shortly after, the match between two of Joshi’s best powerhouses was made official for Yokohama Arena.
Hashimoto enters the match with a 18-2 record in her past 20 singles matches, while Maika comes into this one on the back of a tremendous 2024, where she held the World of Stardom Championship, won the 5STAR Grand Prix with an undefeated record, and currently holds a 23-3 record in singles matches ever since she won the Red Belt at Dream Queendom 2023. It can’t get much bigger than this, and a win for either wrestler wouldn’t be surprising. Maika has been teasing potential singles matches against Mika Iwata, Manami, and Miyuki Takase that Sendai Girls could immediately run if Maika becomes picks up the gold, while Hashimoto is one of the most dominant wrestlers the Joshi scene has seen in a very long time.
On Thursday, Maika could only watch as Hashimoto dismantled Waka Tsukiyama, and all signs point toward ‘The Empress’ claiming the title. But this is Chihiro Hashimoto — and you never bet against Chihiro Hashimoto, especially in a Sendai Girls World Championship match.
Prediction: Chihiro Hashimoto
Goddess of Starom Championship: wing★gori (Hanan & Saya Iida) (c) vs. FWC (Koguma & Hazuki)

Arguably the two best tag teams in the world are set to face off on STARDOM’s biggest show of the year, with the Goddesses of Stardom Championship on the line, and that alone is enough to sell this match. But beyond the gold, there’s a deeply personal story driving it. In recent weeks, Hanan has made her hatred for Hazuki crystal clear, especially after her fiery comments at the press conference.
Hanan wants to change STARS and has a different vision for Iwatani’s stable than Hazuki, which led to the conflict between them. Regardless of how this match ends, something will change in STARS as it feels like there isn’t enough space in the faction for two top teams who both want to hold the Goddesses Titles. This has been noticeable in all of their preview matches, with Hanan espcially showing a determination to take out Hazuki at every available opportunity, while the FWC member has barely acknowledged the existence of the ‘Young Lioness’ so far.
FWC have always had wing★gore’s number in previous encounters and they want to make sure that this doesn’t change here as they look to kick-start their 4th Goddesses of Stardom Title reign, but this is not the same wing★gori that they have faced before. This is a much improved version, who rightfully are on the top of STARDOM’s tag team division right now and want to stay there. Both teams will give it all, but only one team can prevail.
Prediction: wing★gori (Hanan & Saya Iida)
IWGP Women’s Championship: Mayu Iwatani (c) vs. Syuri

Mayu Iwatani has been holding the IWGP Women’s Championship for over two whole years, and every time the title has been on the line, she’s made it feel like the most important belt in wrestling. That is in spite of a lack of focus on the title at times, as that’s simply how good the ‘Icon ot STARDOM’ is. Iwatani has vanquished some of wrestling’s biggest and best during her historic reign, including Mercedes Mone, Toni Storm, Stephanie Vaquer, and Utami Hayashishita, all of whom currently hold championship in the home promotions.
Arguably, her toughest challenge yet came last year at Ittenyon when Mayu went to war with Syuri for a gruelling 20 minutes and barely survived. Now, 15 months later, they meet again, but this time, Syuri looks to be more dangerous than ever. The leader of God’s Eye comes into this one fresh off a 30-minute time limit draw against Sareee that reminded everyone exactly who she is – a dominant, unrelenting killer.
This looks likely to be the end of Iwatani’s title run as rumours about her future are gaining momentum. Add in that this is Syuri’s second attempt at putting an end to Iwatani’s reign and that Sareee appears to be waiting in the wings to demand a rematch, and a Syuri victory here feels inevitable. Iwatani and Syuri will no doubt give it their all to make sure that this incredible title run comes to an end with a bang.
Prediction: Syuri
Wonder of Stardom Championship: Starlight Kid (c) vs. AZM

The Eternal Foes face each other in a singles match, but this time it’s for the Wonder of Stardom Championship and the leadership of NEO Genesis as it marks the next big chapter in the rivalry between the two best friends. Their matches are always special, with their encounters for the High Speed Championship in particular doing a lot to grow STARDOM’s international audience as the pair’s innovative and electric-paced battles captured the eyes of fans across the globe.
The history of the two is well know, but what maybe isn’t is that AZM has had Starlight Kid’s number for 7 years now as SLK’s last singles win against AZM came in April of 2018 when the two battled for the Future of Stardom Championship. Ever since then, AZM has defeated Starlight Kid 4 times, and they fought to a time limit draw on three occasions. Given that record, AZM has the advantage coming into this match, but unlike Starlight Kid, she has close to zero experience in big matches. This is AZM’s first-ever shot at the Wonder of Stardom Championship and it will be interesting to see how she adjusts her style to the formula of a White Belt match that often centres around emotion more than the pure in-ring work. Based purely on how great the chemistry between the two is, however, the in-ring action should not be a worry for anyone.
Starlight Kid is on the run of her career, has the crowd behind her like no other, and is reaching superstardom. Ending her run this early would be a mistake as the White Belt has been in desperate need of a great run ever since Kamitani dropped it two years ago, and SLK is on track to have that. The result may be complicated, however, by her lingering injury concerns following a bloody title defence against Konami.
Prediction: Starlight Kid
World of Stardom Championship Career vs. Career – Saya Kamitani (c) vs. Tam Nakano

Over the past 6 months, Saya Kamitani and Tam Nakano have been locked in an intense feud, and now it all comes down to this. Not only is Saya Kamitani’s World of Stardom Championship on the line, but so too are the careers of both competitors. For one of them this will mark the end of the road. For the other, it will cement them as the undisputed top name in Joshi wrestling.
The company’s booking has made it clear that Tam Nakano will almost certainly be the one to bow out here. She has been on a little retirement road ever since losing the “Loser Leaves STARDOM” match to Saya Kamitani in March, facing Saori Anou in a singles match, taking on Yumiko Hotta, Aja Kong, and Kaoru Ito in a six-woman tag, and even reuniting the original Cosmic Angels to close out her hometown show. Most importantly, she’s no longer listed as part of STARDOM’s roster. All signs point toward Tam Nakano losing, and it makes sense given the run Saya Kamitani is on. Ever since her controversial heel turn on Maika last July, Kamitani has only improved with every match, reaching a level of stardom few ever expected from her. She’s been everywhere — from TV appearances to promotional work — with the clear goal of elevating Joshi wrestling to new heights, and she’s been delivering that vision with this story.
Over the past few weeks, Saya Kamitani has been attacking Tam Nakano everywhere to promote this match and even went as far as to run her over with a car. As each of these moments went viral on social media and garbered millions of impressions, STARDOM’s status as the world’s hottest promotion only grew. The anticipation for this Career vs. Career bout couldn’t be higher, and we don’t have to wait much longer for the conclusion to one of STARDOM’s best told stories.
Predicting who will win is one thing, but the bigger question is whether the loser actually stays retired, especially considering how the company has backtracked on both “Loser Leaves STARDOM” matches earlier this year. Booking a venue in Japan typically happens more than 12 months in advance, and around the time Yokohama Arena was secured, the whole split with Marigold was happening. So booking a venue of this scale during a time of crisis either shows they had serious confidence or that they knew they had a retirement they could sell the show around, and I believe it’s the latter. Tam Nakano is having the final match of her career here, enteribg the history books one last time by main-eventing the biggest STARDOM show of all time. She has done it all – 2x World Champ, 2x Wonder Champ, and has main-evented Sumo Hall, Yokohama Arena, and Nippon Budokan. A legend is about to say goodbye, and it will undoubtedly be emotional.
Prediction: Saya Kamitani
The show is set to kick-off at 2am EST/7am BST, and fans can order the pay-per-view here.
