Stephanie Vaquer is headed for WWE.

Earlier today, news broke that Stephanie Vaquer had relinquished the CMLL World Women’s and World Women’s Tag Team Championships after electing to depart the company. It came following huge speculation about her future, with it believed that both WWE and AEW were after her signature, but we now know where she’s headed next.

First, it was PWInsider that reported that Vaquer had signed with WWE, and that the deal had been done within the last week.

“PWInsider.com has confirmed with a source close to Stephanie Vaquer that she has officially signed with WWE just weeks after competing at AEW’s Forbidden Door PPV against Mercedes Mone.”

This was then confirmed by Shawn Michaels, who took to X to welcome Vaquer into the WWE family.

‘La Primera’ actually wrestled for CMLL as recently as last night, but it was clear by a change in her demeanour post-match that she was saying goodbye to the company in which she has spent the last five years. Now, attention will rightly turn to her next step, as she joins WWE and performs on the NXT brand.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Stephanie Vaquer’s move to WWE as soon as we hear more.
