Steven Borden, the son of Sting, is reportedly training to be a professional wrestler.
On March 3, ‘The Icon’ Sting wrestled his final match as he and Darby Allin retained their AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. The main event of the Revolution pay-per-view felt like a celebration of Sting’s career, and it even involved past iterations of the legend’s persona being represented by his sons, one of which may have caught the infamous wrestling bug as a result of his participation in his father’s last outing.
In a new update from Fightful Select, it’s reported that Steven Borden is training to be a professional wrestling, and is staying with Darby Allin during the process.
“Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Darby Allin said that Steven, a former football player, was staying at his house and training to be a pro wrestler.”

Steven portrayed the ‘Wolfpack’ version of Sting at AEW Revolution, and even hit a Stinger Splash during the contest. Regardless of how far into his wrestling journey Borden gets, many will be happy that Sting’s son is wanting to take his father’s work into the next generation.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Steven Borden training to be a wrestler as soon as we hear more.
