John Cena continues to lend a hand to the next generation.
With John Cena’s in-ring career set to end at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., the record-setting seventeen-time former world champion has made several visits to the WWE Performance Center in recent weeks to thank those training there and to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of WWE Superstars.
In a recent appearance on Eat Sleep Podcast Repeat, NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley revealed that she has had the opportunity to sit down with Cena and learn from his experience.
“Something about John Cena, in his heart, he is so, so wanting to help young wrestlers. I’ve actually gotten to sit and talk with him. I remember I just walked up to him and thanked him. And he was like, ‘What did I do?’ I was like, ‘You’re so impactful.’ He offered me to sit down next to him, and he’s like, ‘Are there any questions you have? And I’m just staring at him like, oh my gosh, there are so many things I want to ask John Cena… The knowledge in his brain and the way he speaks, he’s incredible.”

Tatum Paxley defeated Jacy Jayne at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 25 to win the NXT Women’s Championship, with a rematch between the pair scheduled for next Tuesday despite the objections of Izzi Dame.
Meanwhile, the Last Time is Now tournament continues across both RAW and SmackDown to determine John Cena’s final opponent, with the recently crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion reportedly expected to face GUNTHER at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
TNA Knockouts World Champion Kelani Jordan recently spoke about her conversations with Cena at the WWE Performance Center and the valuable advice he shared. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on John Cena’s retirement tour, as well as future plans for Tatum Paxley as soon as we hear more.
