Tenshin Nasukawa is stepping into the world of professional wrestling.

Legendary kickboxer and boxer Tenshin Nasukawa is set to compete in a trios match alongside DDT Pro-Wrestling talent at a festival in Chiba on October 31. The 28-year-old will team with Yuki Ueno and Shinya Aoki to face Danshoku Dino, Takeshi Masada and To-y.

The bout is billed as a “street-pro wrestling” match, a DDT speciality in which the action takes place outside a traditional wrestling ring, often incorporating comedy and hardcore elements. Notable examples in recent years include Minoru Suzuki’s match against Sanshiro Takagi inside an empty Tokyo Dome, as well as the promotion’s various matches held aboard trains.
