The Deadman thinks Bray Wyatt should’ve ended the streak.
Reaching 21-0 before it was broken, The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak was an attraction in and of itself every time the Show of Shows rolled around. Fans each had their own theory on who would be the one to finally hand The Phenom a ‘Mania loss, with many feeling as if it could be a launching pad for someone’s career. In the end, it was Brock Lesnar who shocked the world by defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania, but some still wonder whether this was the right choice.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker revealed that he actually believes Bray Wyatt should have ended the streak, with The Phenom even talking through an idea that could’ve seen them join forces after Bray had beaten him, forming an alliance that would’ve added to both their characters.
“The most logical person to break it would’ve been Bray Wyatt, it would’ve meant more to his career than Roman’s. For Roman, it would’ve been very, very special. But for Bray, there was so many comparisons between the two characters and the darkness and the different things, for him to have broken it would’ve been such a feather in his cap and something which would’ve probably extended the character of The Undertaker in a different capacity. I mean, Bray would’ve been the in-ring aspect of it, but I think those characters would’ve somehow maybe merged together in sone kind of higher power type deal. I think of all the people it would’ve helped the most, Bray would have been the guy. He’s the only one.”

As people will remember, Wyatt was the first man to face The Undertaker after his streak was broken, facing The Deadman at WrestleMania 31. While they never formed an alliance together, Bray did combine with The Phenom at Raw 30 in January of last year as the pair fought off LA Knight prior to the Royal Rumble.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on who The Undertaker would’ve had break the streak as soon as we hear more.
