Thekla Reportedly Signs New, Multi-Year AEW Deal

Thekla has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling.
Since making her All Elite Wrestling debut in May of last year, Thekla has rapidly become one of the hottest acts in the promotion’s women’s division and now finds herself holding the AEW Women’s World Championship less than a year later.
Fightful Select are now reporting that Thekla has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling, having used representation to help secure her new deal with the promotion.
“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Thekla recently re-signed a new multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. We’ve not heard the exact length as of yet.”

The report additionally notes that Thekla originally signed a two-year deal with All Elite Wrestling after leaving Japan, however the company was so pleased with her performances that they moved to sign her to a new multi-year deal not even a full year into her previous contract.
A core component of Thekla’s success thus far has been her presentation, as alongside Julia Hart and Skye Blue as Sisters of Sin, Thekla has allowed her natural charisma to shine through on-screen
Thekla captured the AEW Women’s World Championship from Kris Statlander during the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite and recently retained the title against the former champion at AEW Revolution on March 15.
