Some women in WWE reportedly want to work with Tessa Blanchard.
At TNA Final Resolution 2024, fans were stunned to see the return of Tessa Blanchard to the company in which she is a former Impact World and Knockouts Champion. Understandably, given previous allegations of bullying and racism, the moment was met with a lot of backlash from fans, however a new report suggests that Blanchard’s TNA return could just be a tester for potential involvement with WWE.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s reported that, depending on the backlash to her upcoming TNA run, WWE could look to bring in Tessa Blanchard, with it said that there are some women in WWE who want to work with her.
“It’s a really weird story, but it could just be a favor for WWE. I mean the idea is if she’s in TNA for a while and there’s no big backlash or anything, they could bring her into WWE because there’s women in WWE who want to work with her. There may be some who don’t, but I know there are some who do, and she’s very controversial for all the reasons everybody knows, and it’s kind of like a test thing.”

Of course, whether Tessa ever crosses over into WWE remains to be seen, particularly given the backlash her TNA return has already received. Still, especially with the partnership that exists between the two promotions, it’s something that has become possible following her shocking comeback.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Tessa Blanchard’s future following her TNA return as soon as we hear more.
