Ever since Jay White came out on the losing end in both a ‘loser leaves Japan’ match with Hikuleo and a loser leaves NJPW’ match against Eddie Kingston, many people have speculated over where we may see The Switchblade end up next. It’s been said that both WWE and AEW are interested in the 30-year-old with him proving to be an attractive prospect for both of America’s top promotion.
It’s still unclear what is next for the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion despite the links to WWE and AEW. Now, PWInsider have provided the latest update as to where we may, or may not, see White pop up in the near future.
“There was “absolutely no discussion” regarding Jay White during the past WrestleMania 39 weekend.”
“Based on multiple conversations with WWE officials and talents, it’s said that it does not appear Jay White is WWE-bound.”

As of writing, the future of the WWE itself remains unknown. In the last few days, Endeavor announced a deal to acquire the company and how this will affect its processes both on and off-screen is yet to be seen. Though, as PWInsider state, their future is unlikely to involve Jay White.
As always, we’ll update you on Jay White and what’s next for him as we hear more.
