Thunder Rosa should soon be back.
Shortly after competing in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet at All In, Thunder Rosa revealed on her YouTube channel that she was taking some time off from AEW. This followed on from reports that she was dealing with an undisclosed injury, and the 39-year-old hasn’t competed in over three months. However, it now appears as if it won’t be long before she’s able to return.
Speaking with Midnight Movie Trash, Thunder Rosa revealed that her recovery is going well, saying she should be back fairly soon.
“Right now I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab for the injuries that I just had a couple months ago, and I have really good news. Everything is going really well. So, I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon.”

It’s fair to say that Rosa has had more than her fair share of injury concerns in recent times. The former AEW Women’s World Champion was sidelined from August 2022 to December 2023 with a back injury, while she also missed time late last year with a concussion. Thankfully, it sounds as if it won’t be long before she’s back in the ring.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Thunder Rosa’s return from injury as soon as we hear more.
