It’s still ‘Tiffy Time,’ despite recent injury concerns.

On the September 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. During the match, Stratton attempted a moonsault to the outside but landed hard on her back. The 26-year-old was subsequently pulled from NXT Homecoming, and her planned Women’s Title defence against Nia Jax and Cargill at September 20’s Wrestlepalooza were also canceled.

Speaking to Going Ringside, Stratton was asked about her injury status, to which she revealed that she’s doing okay and that the changes were largely precautionary.

“Physically, I’m okay. Obviously, on that moonsault, it was a little bit of a rough landing. However, I was fine. I think it was more precautionary and monitoring and seeing if anything was bad about the fall. For the most part, I’m doing good. I’m great.”

Stratton is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against both Nia Jax and Jade Cargill on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Elsewhere during the interview, Stratton shared her thoughts on the announcement that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further  updates on what the future holds for Tiffany Stratton as soon as we hear more.
