A return to TKO is not on the cards for Vince McMahon.

On March 4th, Vince McMahon filed to sell 5,350,000 TKO shares, with a value of $412 million. The transaction left McMahon with roughly 15,000,000 shares, accounting for around 9% of all TKO stock.

Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco, TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro commented on McMahon selling his stock, revealing that he will not be returning to the company.

“We’re not in conversations with him.  We don’t know his motives, his plans or his timeline. He doesn’t work for the company, doesn’t come into the office and he’s not coming back to the company. And that’s where we sit.”

-Mark Shapiro

McMahon’s filing came amidst a federal investigation into claims of sex trafficking and sexual assault against the former WWE Chairman, with former WWE employee Janel Grant’s lawsuit filed on January 25th earlier this year leading to his decision to step down as TKO Executive Chairman.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the investigation into McMahon as soon as we hear more.
