The long-awaited TNA TV deal has finally arrived.

Earlier today, Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated reported that TNA Wrestling’s programming was expected to move to the AMC Networks, with a press release published this afternoon confirming the move.

Following the announcement, some fans questioned whether this would spell the end of TNA’s partnership with WWE. PWInsider have now confirmed, however, that this will not be the case.

“PWInsider.com has spoken with sources in each company and each were adamant that the existing partnership between the two sides, which was announced as being a multi-year deal in January 2025, will continue on. WWE sources also confirmed they were made aware of TNA’s deal with AMC well in advance of today’s announcement, so it was not a case of TNA blindsiding them. WWE sources also pointed out that NXT was referenced in today’s press release from AMC and TNA.”

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp additionally confirmed that the partnership is set to continue and noted that TNA sources believe the WWE relationship helped them secure the deal with AMC.

AMC and TNA Wrestling have signed a multi year deal to bring the company’s flagship show iMPACT! to AMC, beginning on January 15 with a live episode, followed by weekly broadcasts every Thursday from 9 to 11 p.m. ET.

The programme will also be available to viewers on AMC Network’s streaming platform AMC+.

Since the partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling began, talent from both NXT and TNA have made frequent crossover appearances, with several NXT stars currently launching a hostile invasion led by former X Division champion Robert Stone.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on TNA Wrestling heading to AMC as soon as we hear more.
