At the recent AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event, PAC was crowned as the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, as he defeated Miro, Malakai Black, and Clark Connors for the gold.

Despite not appearing on Dynamite since capturing the title, PAC is set to defend his recently won championship overseas, as he’ll take on Shota Umino this weekend in RevPro.

AEW President Tony Khan recently appeared on Ringer Wrestling’s the Masked Man Show, where he highlighted that the All-Atlantic Championship is travelling title, designed so that the champion can take the gold overseas.

Additionally, Khan noted that AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has spoken about defending her AEW Women’s World Championship abroad, which he admitted he is ‘open to’.

“PAC is going back to England, he’s back in England now, and he is going to defend the title internationally … It’s a traveling championship, because the champions of AEW, because of TV commitments, all the other champions we really have booked here through the year, let’s have a champion that can go defend the title. Thunder Rosa has also talked about defending the Women’s World Championship abroad, which I’m open to also.”

Thunder Rosa is set to take on Miyu Yamashita in Japan this Saturday at TJPW’s Summer Sun Princess event. Should TJPW’s emerge with the victory, she will earn a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship down the line.
