A new women’s title was unveiled at the most recent round of Ring of Honor tapings on December 16th.
Hardly twenty-four hours after Ring of Honor’s final show of the year, Final Battle went off the air, Tony Khan would display the brand new Ring of Honor Women’s TV Championship.
At this time, it is unknown who will be vying for the opportunity to become the inaugural champion or how the first champion will be crowned.
The segment is expected to air this Thursday on Ring of Honor’s weekly programming on HonorClub.
Ring of Honor’s Final Battle PPV saw Athena defeat Billie Starks in the main event for the ROH Women’s World Championship as well as a trios match between The BCC (Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli) face off against Mark Briscoe, and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) in a match that would honor the late Jay Briscoe.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the plans for the ROH Women’s TV Championship as soon as we hear more.
