Cody Rhodes is believed to have been injured by Travis Scott during John Cena’s heel turn.

At WWE Elimination Chamber, fans were shocked to see John Cena side with The Rock as he and ‘The Final Boss’ unleashed a vicious beatdown on Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Notably, the angle also heavily involved Grammy-nominated artist Travis Scott, who made his entrance alongside The Rock and eventually became physical with ‘The American Nightmare’. Now, it seems as if Rhodes didn’t escape his interaction with Travis Scott unscathed.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s believed that Cody Rhodes was legitimately injured at Elimination Chamber, with it likely being Travis Scott’s offence that caused the damage. It was noted by Meltzer that Rhodes has a busted eardrum and a black eye.

“Cody got hurt…I’m pretty sure it was Travis Scott that did it…I heard he had a busted eardrum and a black eye,”

A clip of Scott’s attack on Rhodes went viral after the fact, and many fans picked up on the music star being particularly rough with the Undisputed WWE Champion during the attack. Interestingly, it was recently revealed that Scott has been undertaking wrestling training of late, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he comes face to face with Cody in the ring later down the line.

With just 46 days to go until the start of WrestleMania 41, Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena in Las Vegas.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Travis Scott reportedly injuring Cody Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber as soon as we hear more.
