The latest on WWE’s approach to working with Travis Scott.
When John Cena shockingly turned heel to join forces with The Rock at Elimination Chamber 2025, Travis Scott was by their side. The Grammy-nominated artist went on to feature at WrestleMania 41, and reports emerged shortly after that WWE were working towards having Scott appear in a tag team match alongside the current Undisputed WWE Champion. Now, an update has emerged on how scheduling may have put those plans on ice.
Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that Scott’s possible celebrity tag team match didn’t happen because Scott wasn’t able to commit to WWE alongside his outside projects.
Regarding Travis Scott, who was talked about for a celebrity tag match against Rhodes stemming from the Chamber and Mania angles, that obviously hasn’t materialized. The reaction when asked about it was, “He doesn’t like to commit to anything. He goes half-in, and tries other projects at the same time. And since he’s a personal client of Ari, everyone tried to accommodate until it just became too much to deal with.”

Scott hasn’t been seen in WWE since he helped John Cena capture the Undisputed WWE Championship on April 20. As of now, it’s unclear when the music star will return to the wrestling world or if fans will see him compete in the ring.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Travis Scott’s WWE status as soon as we hear more.
