Monday Night RAW is looking to find a middle ground between previous runtimes.
From July 2012 until last October, WWE’s Monday Night RAW aired as a three-hour show. Ahead of the move to Netflix, RAW temporarily reverted back to two hours in order to accommodate the transition, however with the Netflix Era now upon us, many fans have been wondering what that would mean for the show’s runtime on a consistent basis.
In today’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is currently targeting 2 ½ hours for the show’s runtime.
“From what we’ve been told, right now (and this can and has changed over time), Paul Levesque is looking at two and a half hours as the “sweet spot” as far as the time of the show.”

Multiple reports thus far have suggested that Netflix provide WWE with the ability to be flexible with their runtimes, although PWInsider also noted earlier this week that this lack of a hard out will not result in the company abandoning their structure.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Monday Night RAW’s planned runtime on Netflix as soon as we hear more.
