It’s been revealed that there have been discussions over bringing two-thirds of Toxic Attraction to the main roster.
Toxic Attraction have dominated NXT 2.0 since its colourful inception. Mandy Rose continues to climb the list of longest reigning NXT women’s champions having held the title for 329 days+ while Dolin and Jayne are former two-time NXT women’s tag team champions.
It’s fair to say that the group might be reaching their limit in terms of what they can do on WWE’s third brand. We have seen members of the group appear on the main roster including Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne’s recent inclusion in the women’s tag title tournament. Unfortunately, the team pulled out of the tournament due to injury.
Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that talks have been held regarding bringing the tag team back to the main roster.
“There has at least been talk of Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne moving to the main roster. It’s been talked about for a while”
– Dave Meltzer
They have popped up a couple of times, but it may not be long before we see Toxic Attraction on the main roster more frequently, probably joined by Mandy Rose when she eventually loses the NXT Women’s Title.
