Vince McMahon is believed to be setting up another company, not related to wrestling.

In January, Vince McMahon officially resigned from TKO following a lawsuit brought against him by Janel Grant which alleged cases of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. Following months of inactivity from the 79-year-old, an update has emerged on McMahon’s possible future plans.

Per PWInsider, it’s believed that Vince McMahon is in the process of starting a new entertainment company which would focus on developing film and TV. It’s clarified that the company isn’t set to be similar to WWE, and will potentially be announced if and when McMahon’s legal issues are settled.

“Multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed McMahon has been in the process of setting up what has been described as a new “entertainment hub company” that would financially back, develop and produce film and television productions.  The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that there are no plans for this company to launch anything similar to WWE and they would instead focus on fiction and non-fiction projects.

It’s also noted that some former WWE staff members have been linked to McMahon’s new company. In particular, WWE’s former Chief Operating Officer Barry Blum is confirmed to be working on the project, while Kristen Prouty, who has long had links to the world of Hollywood and was previously tasked with bringing talent from the entertainment world into WWE, is also on board. Conversely, Kevin Dunn hasn’t had any involvement.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Vince McMahon launching a new company as soon as we hear more.
