It may not be long before AEW and WBD officially renew terms.

The relationship between All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery has been a popular talking point of late, particularly with the current deal between the two sides expiring this year. A possible renewal has dominated the headlines, and now it appears we may be close to a new agreement for AEW’s media rights.

Per John Ourand of Puck News, it’s believed that Warner Bros. Discovery is close to renewing AEW. The deal reportedly like it’ll be a three-year deal with an optional of a fourth, and it could potentially see AEW receive $170 million each year.

“Insiders are telling me that a formal announcement could come as soon as next week, barring any last-minute challenges. It looks like it will be a four-year deal (three years guaranteed, plus an option), and the $170 million per year number floating around wrestling message boards is apparently in the ballpark.

Whether fans hear anything with regard to a new deal between AEW and WBD next week remains to be seen, but the signs continue to be positive when it comes to a possible extension of the terms between the two companies.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on a potential deal between AEW and WBD as soon as we hear more.
