2023 will be the second year of the WrestlePurists awards. Our awards will be highlighting the very best that pro wrestling has had to offer in 2023. The winners will be decided by votes from wrestlers, media/critics, and of course, the fans. Voting is now open and can be found below.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We have done a series of tweets asking for followers/fans to put forward names for nomination in the replies. The names suggested most under these tweets have made up the shortlist of nominees.
Below you will find a series of polls where you can vote for who you think should win each award. Our team will also be spending the next month reaching out to media members and talent for their votes too. Once the polls close on January 5th & we have collected votes, we will begin to work out the respective winners.
The awards will ultimately be decided by who has the highest combined % of votes across fans, wrestlers, media/critics that voted. There will also be an individual Wrestler of the Year award for each of those particular voting groups.We plan on revealing the winners on January 6th or 7th 2024 depending on how quick we count up the votes.
