There are reportedly pushes for Oba Femi to make his WrestleMania debut this year.

On the January 6 edition of NXT, Oba Femi successfully defended his NXT Championship against Leon Slater. However, after the match, ‘The Ruler’ left his title in the ring and it was later confirmed he’d vacated the gold. Following up on this, Bodyslam and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported Femi was set for a move to Monday Night RAW. Now, it seems big plans could be in store for the Nigerian star on the main roster.

In a new update from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select, it’s believed that there are pushes in creative for Oba Femi to have a prominent role at WrestleMania 42.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that Oba Femi is currently expected for the WWE Raw brand, with him debuting near the top of the card. There are creative pushes for him to be featured prominently on WrestleMania.”

The report goes on to note that Femi vacating the NXT Championship was as a result of those in charge of main roster creative not wanting him to take a loss before leaving the brand for pastures new. With it looking like he’ll soon be a member of the RAW roster, it’s currently unclear as to when Oba may emerge on the red brand, though it’s possible he makes his mark in this month’s Royal Rumble as the road to WrestleMania gets underway in Saudi Arabia.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Oba Femi’s move to the main roster as soon as we hear more.
